Peer Advising
The Student Support Services (SSS) Peer Advisement Program is a great opportunity for sophomores and upper division students to offer support and encouragement to SSS freshmen and branchfers through informal social and academically-oriented interactions. SSS Peer Advisors are service minded students with 2.5+ GPA who play a key role in assisting first year students become acclimated to the campus and the demands of the collegiate life. SSS Peer Advisors assist new students through one-on-one and group meetings with their advisees. SSS Peer Advisors are an important on-campus resource for new students and work as vital members of the SSS counseling team.
